Manned Up Conversations is an empowering platform dedicated to fostering authentic and meaningful discussions among men and boys from all walks of life. Our mission is to interrogate traditional notions of masculinity and create a safe space where men can openly explore their inner world, experiences, and challenges without fear of judgement.
Through thought-provoking content, interactive engagement and workshops with mental health professionals, psychologists, business professionals and those initiated in men’s work, Manned Up Conversations seeks to inspire personal growth, emotional intelligence, and positive change in the lives of men and boys in Africa and beyond.
I envision a world where men can own their humanness and break free from societal stereotypes and expectations, prioritizing their mental and emotional well-being without compromising their identity. I believe that by encouraging open dialogues and mutual support, men can experience joyful, more fulfilling lives and contribute positively to their communities and relationships.

About the Host
Kgaugelo Habyane is curious storyteller leveraging podcasting to share men’s stories. Being raised in Atteridgeville, Pretoria by my mother and grandmother without my father instilled in me a desire to connect and learn from men from all walks of life and start this platform which is growing into a community of open-minded individuals seeking personal improvement, community, emotional resilience and healing. Although this journey starts with each of us individually, I believe that, together, we can challenge societal norms, embrace our healing journey, and create a more compassionate and understanding world for ourselves and others.

Great interview, very insightful and a powerful reminder that change & growth are a result of our own choices, it's inner work. I appreciate the gift that Melusi is to our generation (first heard him speak on KayaFM on Jenny's show). Gratitude for this platform and the hard work your team puts into each episode. May your amazing work reach more audiences and grow, makwande
